  • International Ground Station helps a user to directly download the data at their Ground Station.
  • When a user is having a Ground Station, it would be enabled with certain hardware and Software, so that the station can directly receive and process data and generate the data products.
  • Advantages of having IRS-International Ground Station
    • Direct downloaded of data and hence near real time data availability.
    • User can give the tasking requirement and it is imaged on priority and downloaded to the user ground station
    • User can generate different data products
    • User can disseminate the data to any number of users.
  • For continuous data requirement, it is ideal to establish IGS for IRS satellite.
  • Initial investment would only for Hardware and Software at a reasonable price.  Further, based on the access, user needs to pay only the access fee.
  • If the user does not have a ground station, Antrix can build a Data Reception Ground Station for the user at his premises on Turn-key basis.

Basic Software packages required at User Stations are:

S. No. Name of Software
1. Data Archival and Quick Look Browse (DAQLB)
2 Data Product Generation system (DPGS)
